Our Foundation provides rehabilitation services for people with motor disorders such as Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Head injuries and Cerebral Palsy.
We practise in groups in which each individual is guided towards the skill and motivation they need to achieve greater independence in their everyday lives.
Stroke Survivors
This programme is based on re-learning skills to use the parts of the body affected by the stroke and on re-developing body awareness and balance.
Parkinson's Disease
This programme helps participants develop techniques for managing daily activities and includes improving control in areas such as walking, tremors, directional change, posture, and balance.
The programme also addresses life skills such as coping with crowded environments, verbal and non-verbal communication and handwriting skills.

Multiple Sclerosis
MS affects each person in very different ways. Personal aims therefore will vary from person to person. For one it may be balance and walking around the house, for another it may be dressing and getting in and out of the car. Equally for many it may be the ability to continue to work or play an active role in family life
